there is less unsprung weight so it takes less for the suspension to work over small bumps and that kind of thing. its also better in rock gardens and that kind of thing because it doesnt get deflected off rocks and stuff so it is easier to keep a good line without your bars being kicked around everywhere. also manitou has a really good dampener and it is just really nice and bottomless feeling

hope u got some money saved up haha, 120 for the rim, 350 for the hub, prob like 50 for good spokes and then labour to build it all up
